Food Service

News from the Cafeteria

Crestview Food Service operates under the USDA Offer vs Serve Policy.  This provision of the school lunch program means that students are offered five food components each day from within the federally-required traditional lunch pattern.  Crestview Local Schools offers this to all students in grades 1-12.  Students are encouraged to take all items offered within the meal. However under OVS, students need only take a minimum of three of the five food components offered one of which must be a fruit or vegetable component.  Offer vs Serve allows students to refuse a food item they do not like, encourages freedom of choice and helps to eliminate waste.  PreK and Kindergarten students will follow the traditional lunch pattern which means that they will be served all five components.

Parents can access their child’s lunch account information by clicking on the EZ Pay link on the Parent Resource Page at www.crestviewknights.com.  Once there, you will need to create an account or login.  If you have a family account, it is important that you use the family account number in order to see the overall account balance and to make payments.  If you are unable to locate it, or if you are having trouble navigating EZ Pay, contact Penny Clark at (419) 749-9100 ext. 7 or email at [email protected].
